Group Evaluation

For this group assessment, i did question three (How Does it Work). I also put together the presentation website.
I enjoyed working in a group because the task could be easy spread through the group, instead of doing all the work by myself. Working as a group helps because you get to know more about how other people work.
Getting all the work submitted at the same time was difficult to do as a group.
I learned about the different ways other people do their work, how to work individually and as a group and how much effort a group needs to contribute in order for the presentation to be a success.
As a group we all worked together really well. There were no fights and we all agreed with each other when a new decision was introduced.
As mentioned in other blogs, the group task questions were spread within the group evenly. Each person was given two questions (except for myself because i created the website). Each person in the group will also present a part of the presentation. Every person in the group was enthusiastic when it came to the group work and contributed ideas.
I tried my best within the group and as an individual. I also did my share of the work.
I was good at contributing ideas and helping the other members in the group. Sometimes though, it did seem like a i was doing individual work, doing the website.
Perhaps i could help the other group members more in their research and the handouts.

Planning for the Final Presentation

At lunch today i worked more on my blog because most of the presentation was finished ! All the research has been put into the wix.com presentation. The handouts (designed by Krozina and printed by Clare) has all been printed.

A Few Presentation Problems

The presentation is almost complete but I'm afraid that it may be a bit boring. Most of the information is text and there are only a few visuals. Perhaps i might make the site more interesting. On a website i found there is a great animation on the different parts of the Respiratory System and how it works.

Completing the Final Presentation

The wix.com presentation is almost finished only three questions remain for the presentation. Bad habits, when things go wrong, the different parts and which doctor questions have been completed on both research and presentation.

More Research

The walls of the alveoli are very thin and so the oxygen from the air travels to the surrounding capillaries (the red blood cells). Hemoglobin, a red blood cell protein helps the oxygen move through the air sacs to the blood. While this happens, the carbon dioxide from the air moves from the capillaries into the air sacs. The blood filled with oxygen, from the lungs, travel through the many networks of capillaries and into the pulmonary vein.

Problems within the Group

Kajal has had a few problems trying to find some bad habits effecting the Respiratory System. Clare and I have helped by brainstorming some ideas such as hay fever and smoking. These cause the respiratory system to malfunction, not work properly, become harder to breathe. The presentation date is almost here. There are only a few days until the due date. We are not very sure on how we will be teaching the class because we thought we could just read of the presentation. The handouts will be easy to explain though.
